Reverend Father Daeng, Wat Khunaram
Wat Khunaram (Wat Khao Po, Wat Luang Pho Daeng) Wat Khunaram, also known as Wat Khao Po, is located at the 13th kilometer near Namuang Waterfall. There is an amulet which the villagers call Luang Por Daeng or Luang Por Daeng Piyasilo (Phra Kru Somthakittikhun) who has passed away but has not decayed. The body is contained in a glass coffin in a sitting meditation posture. In the last phase, he ordered the close ones to prepare the casket for meditation. He intended to meditate in that ark until his death. But no one does it because of cherish love. I don't want you to leave and see that you are still in good health. But in the fifth month of the waning moon, he reiterated that until the sixth month he died, no one believed. Finally he passed away on May 6, 1973, waning on the 5th day of the 6th month of the Ox, aged 79 years and 8 months, and within the temple grounds, there are about 3-4 souvenir shops for sale to tourists. Most of them are handmade products made from coconut shells.
