Full Moon Party (English: Full Moon Party, meaning celebration of the full moon) is a celebration on the beach. Held at Haad Rin, Koh Phangan, Surat Thani, every full moon night.
The celebration began with a thank-you party for a group of 20-30 tourists in 1985 at a discotheque not far from the beach. Later, the Full Moon Party quickly became popular through word of mouth. The Full Moon Party has become part of many travelers' itineraries in Asia. Attending the event is free of charge. in the past year Local operators have tried to increase the frequency of the feast. For example, it is held on the night of the Half Moon Party (Half Moon Party) or on the night of the dark moon (Black Moon Party) as well.
